Most of the probationary terms are usually medium term.
Most of the people who are arrested will be remanded to a jail facility under the supervision of an U.S. Probation officer. However, most of these offenders will also be granted a work-release program once they complete their jail term. This work-release program will enable them to either find a job or continue with some sort of community service. The jail facility will also provide the offenders with necessary medical assistance upon request.
